ok, hadn't seen the "more than 10 files" link... it seems I'm back to the old method then...

ok, I'm having a problem now... since I have more than 10 files, I'm trying to use the old system... I created my item with its identifier (unfound32) that way, but I can't login to the ftp server that's given to me... after some tries and confusion, I created the item with no files in it, I tried to add some files with the item manager, but the same thing happens (I'm given the same ftp server, but I can't login; I'm sure I have the correct login/password coz I'm logged in at the moment to post this ;) )

also, what's weird is this: just as a try, I re-tried to create the item... with the old system (the one I get too by following the link "more than 10 files"), it tells me correctly that the identifier is not free; but with the new system (I gave it a try just to see), it thinks that this identifier is still free... so there might be a database problem, the two systems don't seem to access the same db???

ok, sending this by email as well, coz I'm totally stuck now!

Hi,

What's the identifier you're trying to use? I can take a look at the catalog of tasks to try to figure out what's going on.
